Join CLASS

CLASS is a professional organization for and run by K-12 Chinese teachers in the United States. Any educators with a professional interest in the teaching and learning of Chinese language and culture are invited to join CLASS. Your membership enables you to become part of a professional support network. You can share your interests and concerns for the profession with many CLASS members across the country. You’ll have access to a variety of educational and professional resources in teaching Chinese

For All Members

q  CLASS membership is for the calendar year from January 1st to December 31st.

q  Your application form must be accompanied by full payment of dues in order to maintain your membership for the current year.

q  Purchase orders are not accepted.

q  Membership must be in the name of an individual, not in the name of an institution.

q  Only the members in good standing by March 30 are eligible to vote and be nominated for elections.

 

For New Members

Become a new member of CLASS by printing the membership form below. We encourage full-time college students with an interest in world languages to join and participate in the organization at a reduced student rate. Member Category

   q   $40 Regular Membership

   For K-12 teachers of the Chinese language in the United States and to those educators who are interested in promoting the study of Chinese
   language and culture at American secondary and elementary schools.

   q   $50  International Membership

  For Chinese teachers and educators who live outside the United States. ( $10 is included to cover postage oversea mailing.)
 

q  $25 Student / Retired  Membership

   q Student Membership:  Need to send in the membership application or renewal form with a copy of current student ID or a letter from the
                                                    school or a professor as a proof of status. Student members receive full member benefits.

   q Retired Membership:   Need to send in membership application or renewal form with a copy of an official document stating that he/she is fully
                                                    retired from employment at the time of registration or renewal. Retired members receive the full member benefits.
